A Night Out with the Bench and Bar took place October 7 at Brew Detroit. The post-work happy hour event served as an opportunity “to relax and connect with fellow lawyers and jurists outside of the courtroom,” according to a spokesperson for the Detroit Bar Association, which sponsored the get-together. Among those on hand for the event were (left to right) Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Christopher Murray; Chief Judge Patricia Perez Fresard of the Third Circuit Court in Wayne County; Foster Swift attorney Paul Millenbach, a past president of the Detroit Bar Association; and retired Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Denise Langford Morris, a mediator with the JAMS office in Detroit.
