The D.Augustus Straker Bar Association, Wolverine Bar Association, and the Association of Black Judges of Michigan invite high school students to participate in the Martin Luther King Jr. Drum Major For Justice Competition.
The competition is designed to motivate high school students to excel in education and encourage them to express their written & oral views on a pre-selected topic to compete for several scholarships totaling more than $5,000.
Written essays are due by Monday, April 28. The oral advocacy competition will take place Saturday, May 3.
