Warren man found guilty of sexually assaulting two young girls

A Macomb County Jury convicted 29 year old Christopher Michael Rushing-Mckinney in connection with the sexual assault of two young girls.

Christopher Michael Rushing-Mckinney sexually assaulted two minor female relatives in the basement of his Warren home. On August 21, 2024, Rushing-Mckinney was charged with four counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct First Degree (Person under 13, Defendant 17 Years of Age or Older).

On April 3, 2025, Rushing-Mckinney was found guilty on all four charges after a two-day jury trial conducted by Macomb County Assistant Prosecutor Darrian Fortier. Mr. Rushing-Mckinney faces up to life in prison with a minimum mandatory of 25 years. His sentencing date is yet to be determined.
