Memorial book signing continues for Betty Ford
GRAND RAPIDS (AP) -- Visitors will continue to be welcome at Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids to sign a condolence book for former first Lady Betty Ford.
The 93-year-old died last Friday at the Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif. On Wednesday, her casket will travel to Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids, where she grew up and where she met her husband of 58 years.
The lobby will remain open around the clock until she is buried Thursday next to her husband on the museum grounds.
