Juvenile hearings examined at lecture

The Oakland County Bar Association’s Juvenile Law Committee continued its Fundamentals of Juvenile Law—Year V brown bag lunch lecture series with a look at “Preliminary Hearings/Inquiries, Children’s Village Hearings, Consent and Diversion” on Thursday, April 14, at the Oakland County Bar Center in Bloomfield Hills.

Leading the program were (left to right) OCBA Juvenile Law Committee Chair Ryan Deel, of the Oakland County Probate Court, and Juvenile Court Referee David Bilson.

“I’ll be talking about in-custody delinquency hearings, neglect hearings, consent diversion hearings, and the practical aspects of representing juveniles in those cases,” said Bilson.
