Jaffe supports Operation Good Cheer during holiday season
Strong corporate citizenship is paramount at Jaffe, Raitt, Heuer, & Weiss PC. The firm has participated in charitable giving activities since its founding in 1968 and most recently supported the Children and Family Services of Michigan Operation Good Cheer drive.
The firm, its attorneys and staff members adopted 26 children and collected wish list items and monetary donations to help ensure a joyous holiday season. Gifts included clothes, toys, school necessities and much more.
Operation Good Cheer is an annual, all volunteer holiday gift-giving program that began in 1971 by individuals who wanted to make a difference in the lives of children who reside in foster care.
More than 4,000 children and youth are provided with gifts each year and more than 73,000 participants have had their holiday wishes come true as a result of volunteer efforts.
This display of generosity provides thousands of youth, some of whom would not receive anything otherwise, with gifts and the joy of knowing there are people who care.
"We are proud to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Operation Good Cheer and thank our employees for their support and generosity of this great cause," said Richard Zussman, CEO of Jaffe. "Hopefully we were able to make the holiday season brighter for many metro-Detroit area children.
Jaffe supported more than 40 outstanding nonprofit organizations in 2011.
