Donations to military being accepted at court
Oakland County Bar Association's Veterans Committee, led by Chairman Charles E. Brown, issued its annual challenge to OCBA committees and all members to out-fundraise them in their collection of items for military men and women serving in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Anyone who would like to get in on the friendly and high-spirited competition, and help the armed services, may donate items or cash at the Oakland County Courthouse on Wednesday, Feb. 29. The OCBA will staff collection tables from 8 to 11 a.m. at the North and South Entrances.
