Pro Bono Mentor Match Training Session offered
The Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA) will host a Pro Bono Mentor Match Free Training Session on Friday, March 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Management Education Center in Troy.
The OCBA is pleased to offer the Pro Bono Mentor Match program in cooperation with local legal aid providers, the Family Law Assistance Project, and Legal Aid and Defender Association.
Designed for new attorneys, the program provides training and a match to a pro bono case and to an experienced mentor attorney. Practical experience and the support of a mentor attorney are highlights of the program.
The requirements of the free training session are that participants must be members of the OCBA and new attorneys must agree to take a pro bono case.
For additional information or to register for this free training, contact Lisa Stadig Elliot at (248) 334-31400 or lstadig@ocba.org.
