Society planning 16th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade Bunch
The Incorporated Society of Irish American Lawyers (ISIAL) will host its 16th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade Brunch, preceding the St. Patrick's Day Parade, on Sunday, March 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mario's Restaurant, 4222 Second Avenue in Detroit.
The event will feature music for a sing-a-long by Murphy & Cahill as well as snappy commentary from co-MCs: Assistant U.S. Attorney and former ISIAL President Mike Riordan along with ISIAL lawyer and author Fred Lauck who recently wrote the book "Children of the Greatest Generation."
A return must-see to this year's entertainment program will be an Irish dance routine by Irish dancer Paul Cusick, an ISIAL board member, and expected appearances from the Maid of Erin and the parade Grand Marshal Dennis Hayes.
Again this year there will be a shuttle service from Mario's to the Gaelic League for the parade. There will be a $4 charge for parking at a lot across the street from Mario's, and a suggested contribution of $2 per person each way for the shuttle ride to and from the parade.
From now until Monday, March 5, ISIAL members will enjoy an exclusive opportunity to make reservations for the Parade Brunch. After that, the public will be able to make reservations until the event is sold out. Tickets are priced at $25 per person for ISIAL members; $30 for ISIAL non-member guests; $10 for those children 12 years old and under; and $20 for law student ISIAL members. Reservations are requested by Friday, March 9, otherwise, all adult brunches will be $35 at the door without a reservation and pre-payment.
For a reservation form or additional information, contact Gary Bresnehan at 313-605-6266 or email garybres@msn.com.
