Legal Aid and Defender to conduct free workshops on small claims courts

Legal Aid and Defender Association Inc. (LAD) will conduct a series of three workshops this spring for residents of Wayne, Macomb, and Oakland counties on how to represent themselves in small claims courts and collect money judgments. The first workshop, for Wayne residents, will be offered Tuesday, April 24, at LAD headquarters, 613 Abbott St., Detroit. The second, for Macomb residents, will be offered Tuesday, May 15, at Clinton/Macomb Library, 40900 Romeo Plank Road, Clinton Township. The third, for Oakland residents, will be offered Wednesday, June 20, at Oakland County Law Library, 1200 N. Telegraph Road, Pontiac.
