Special public hearing to address veterans' issues
On Monday, June 18, members of the Oakland County Board Commissioners, the Oakland County Veterans Services Department and the Oakland County Administration will be hosting a special public hearing to determine if there is a need to create an Oakland County Veterans Commission to ensure that all local veterans' needs are met.
At this hearing, veterans will learn about various services that are available in detail. The public hearing is scheduled from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., and will be conducted in the Oakland County Board of Commissioners' Auditorium, 1200 North Telegraph Road in Pontiac.
