Butzel Long hosting ABA Woman Advocate Committee event, Nov. 13

The Butzel Long Women's Leadership Committee is hosting the American Bar Association's (ABA) Woman Advocate Committee's Regional Networking brown bag lunch program at noon on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at the firm's Bloomfield Hills office located at Stoneridge West Building, 41000 Woodward Avenue in Bloomfield Hills. All female attorneys are invited to meet and network. The program will include a special teleconference with Stephanie Scharf, the National Association of Women Foundation President. Scharf will present remarks on the just released 2012 NAWL Annual Survey of Retention and Promotion of Women in Law Firms. A Q&A with Scharf will follow. "This is an excellent way for female attorneys to network and stay active with the ABA," said attorney Robin Luce Herrmann, a member of Butzel Long's Women's Leadership Committee. "It is a wonderful professional development opportunity." The program is free. Attendees are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch. Reservations are required and can be emailed to the following Butzel Long host attorneys: Robin Luce Herrmann, luce-herrmann@butzel.com; or Rebecca Davies, davies@butzel.com.
