The Oakland County Bar Association’s Real Estate Law Committee presented part one of its “Title Insurance and Policies” seminar series on Thursday, Oct. 25, at the Oakland County Bar Center in Bloomfield Hills.
Speaking at the program were (left to right) Dawn Patterson of First American Title Insurance Company, David Martyn of Stewart Title Guaranty Company National Title Services, and program moderator Jody Hall of Oakland County Corporation Counsel.
“This the first of a two part presentation on title insurance,” noted Martyn. “This is the basic course—an overview of title insurance and how the industry works and an overview of the various policies and their provisions.”
