'Lawyers & Libations' event encourages local attorneys to connect
The Chaldean American Bar Association (CABA) will bring together more than 80 professionals from the area legal and business community to network, exchange business cards, and promote their services for a night of networking and dialogue on Wednesday, Nov. 28, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Prime29 restaurant in West Bloomfield.
"With the holiday season in full swing and the end of the year quickly approaching, 'Lawyers & Libations' is a great way to unwind and meet new business contacts," said Derek Dickow, executive director for CABA. "Our goal is the professional development of our members and even non-members who are looking to build and develop their brand and make new connections. This is a perfect way to come together with old friends and new ones and support the Chaldean Bar," said Dickow.
Light refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be provided as professionals have an opportunity to make new connections and introduce others to their business and their talents.
Event co-chairs are Lydia D. Ammori and Salam Elia. The event's presenting sponsors are Flagstar Bank and Title Connect. Other sponsors include Steward Media, Bienenstock Court Reporting, Judeh & Associates, O'Connor Court Reporting and CMP Real Estate Group. Admission is free for current CABA members and $10 for non-members and guests.
"I was at CABA's Speed Networking event in September and regularly attend CABA's events and they are always a pleasure," said Venar Ayar, principle at the Ayar Law Group, a tax law firm in Southfield. "CABA brings together lawyers and other legal and business professionals, exposing us to potential partners and even new friends. I would certainly want to participate in their next event," said Ayar.
