Seminar offers 'New Ways to Succeed'

 The Michigan Association for Justice (MAJ) presented its 68th Annual Rapid Fire Seminar “New Ways to Succeed” on Friday, May 10, at The Henry in Dearborn.  

Taking part in the seminar were (left to right) Southfield attorney Jeffrey Appel who presented the Social Security Update; Royal Oak attorney Mark Granzotto who provided the Appellate Update; co-moderator Michael Behm of Behm & Behm; Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Elizabeth Gleicher who spoke on Responding to Motions for Summary Disposition—A View from the Appellate Bench; Ven Johnson of Johnson Law PLC who discussed Maximizing Case Evaluation and Facilitation Awards; Barbara Patek of Erman, Teicher, Miller, Zucker, & Freedman PC who spoke on Insolvency Issues to Consider and Pursuing Defendants into Bankruptcy and Beyond after Obtaining a Judgment; co-moderator Chad Engelhardt of Goethel Engelhardt PLLC; co-moderator Juliana Sabatini of Johnson Law PLC; and Steve Goethel of Goethel Engelhardt PLLC who gave a Medical Malpractice Legislative Update.
