Video of gas station beating leads to 4 arrests
DETROIT (AP) -- Surveillance video of the brutal beating of a 64-year-old Detroit man has led to the arrest of three men and a woman.
The 2-minute video was released Tuesday by Detroit police.
It was taken Monday afternoon and begins with what appears to be a confrontation involving two victims and three men at an east side gas station.
One of the victims is able to flee, but the 64-year-old remains on the ground where his assailants repeatedly kick and punch him before leaving.
Descriptions from the video were broadcast to police. The suspects were arrested and face assault with intent to do great bodily harm charges.
Police say the 64-year-old man was listed in temporarily serious condition at a hospital.
