Wolverine Bar, Straker Bar host Annual Law Student Reception
The Wolverine Bar Association and the D. Augustus Straker Bar Association invite members and law students to attend the Annual Law Student Reception on Sunday, Oct. 20, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the residence of Leroy C. Richie in Birmingham.
The reception provides an opportunity for law students to connect with local attorneys and judges. It will also provide participating sponsors with a mechanism to express their commitment to and underscore the importance of diversity in the legal community. Additionally, the mixer will provide a forum for the WBA's Mentorship Program to establish connections between attorney mentors and law student mentees.
