Company announces fixed price attorney document
Diversified Legal Staffing recently announced that it was moving to a fixed price hourly model for routine attorney document reviews in SE Michigan. The company will supply licensed attorneys at $30 per hour. These attorneys will be employees of d. Diversified Services (its affiliate) and d. Diversified will be responsible for all statutory income taxes, worker's comp, and unemployment obligations.
D. Diversified Services also offers legal industry leading health benefits. A slight surcharge will be charged if free parking is not made available.
Mark A. Grobbel, founder of Diversified Legal, said, "In Southeast Michigan, we have a ton of attorneys looking for work. Granted, doc review is not the sexiest way to practice law but my hope is at this price point there will be some lower level review tasks completed that would not otherwise be done. Furthermore, corporate clients are demanding more for their money and this will allow law firms and corporations to remain competitive while dealing with large scale litigation."
Grobbel also added, "With the advent of the ACA, the Internal Revenue Service will be taking a closer look at Independent Contractor status. This will also make it easier to move client's IC's to our payroll."
Bingham Farms based Diversified Legal Staffing specializes in the temporary and direct hire placement of attorneys, paralegals and legal administrative assistants.
D. Diversified Services has secured its reputation as one of Metro Detroit's most innovative staffing companies. For clients or candidates, for contract or direct placement, dDS works locally, regionally, and nationally to find talent in: design, engineering, information technology, legal staffing, light industrial, office administration/finance, technical/technicians.
