The Oakland County Bar Association New Lawyers Basic Skill Seminar Series “Introduction to Practice” covered the topic of “District Court” on Thursday, Jan. 9, at the Oakland County Bar Center in Bloomfield Hills.
Among those leading the seminar were (left to right) Stanley Wise of Wise & Wise PLC; Oakland County 47th District Court Judge Marla Parker; and Farmington Hills attorney Barry Brickner.
“This is the first of five programs that the Oakland County Bar has done now for the past 20 years,” Wise noted.
Parker spoke on basic district court procedures and Brickner, who is also the mayor of Farmington Hills, spoke on landlord/tenant procedures.
