The Polish American Legal Society (PALS) will host its next monthly meeting on Thursday, May 15, at Polish Village Cafe, 2nd Floor, 2990 Yemens Ave. in Hamtramck. The guest speaker will be attorney Charles Bullock, partner at Stevenson & Bullock PLC.
Bullock has been a Super Lawyer since 2010 and DBusiness Top Lawyer in 2011 and 2012. He has contributed to several scholarly articles on bankruptcy practice in Michigan Lawyer Weekly and other publications. Bullock is a former contributing editor for “Norton Bankruptcy Law and Practice” as well as being an adjunct professor at the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law. He has testified to the U.S. Senate Commission on the Judiciary in Washington, D.C. regarding the impact of bankruptcy practice on small businesses. He also serves on the subcommittee to revise local bankruptcy rules for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He is a member of Michigan and Tennessee Bar.
