Shapero Bankruptcy Symposium offered by Federal Bar, May 22

 The Bankruptcy Committee of the Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, along with the Consumer Bankruptcy Association will present the Walter Shapero Bankruptcy Symposium on Thursday, May 22.

University of Toledo College of Law Professor Kara Bruce, 2013 ABI Scholar in Residence, will speak on “Breaking Bad: BAPCPA and a Fresh Approach to Bankruptcy Reform.”

The symposium will take place at the Southfield Westin, 1500 Town Center, beginning with a reception for U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Mark A. Randon from 5 to 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner and the presentation from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
