Bar associations to plant trees for Diggin' Our Diversity event, June 7

 The Armenian-American Bar Association, Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association, Michigan Asian-Pacific Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association–Eastern District of Michigan Chapter will take part in the Diggin’ Our Diversity community service event on Saturday, June 7, in order to plant trees in the Greenwich Park neighborhood in Detroit.

Planting will take place from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and will be supervised by The Greening of Detroit and the USDA/USFS Great Lakes Restoration Initiative.  Volunteers should meet at Hardstein Playground, 20298 Cheyenne St. in Detroit, to sign in.

There is no cost for the event.  No experience is necessary and everyone is welcome, including children and other family members and friends.
