'Health Insurance 101: the Affordable Care Act' seminar offered by library
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) and Blue Care Network (BCN) will host an educational session that will help citizens understand the new health plan and how to access coverage on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m. at the Rochester Hills Public Library.
Attendees will learn how to manage costs, choose a doctor, and fill prescriptions. Speakers will also tell how to get the most out of a plan with preventive benefits and cost-saving tips to help live a healthier lifestyle. Blue Cross representatives will help answer questions and ensure attendees walk away with materials and resources to understand a health reform plan. Members of all health plans are encouraged to attend.
Registration is required and open to those with a Rochester Hills Public library card. To register go to the Events Calendar at www.rhpl.org or call 248-656-2900.
The Rochester Hills Public Library is located in downtown Rochester, two blocks east of Main Street off of University Drive on Olde Towne Road. For additional information, call 248-650-7124.
