The Oakland County Circuit and Probate courts, in conjunction with the County Clerk’s office, have recently updated and expanded the Court Explorer on-line application. Court Explorer, originally introduced in 2006, enables attorneys and court users to access Circuit Court case information, register of actions and order documents online. The enhanced application is now mobile friendly and has been expanded to include the ability to order Probate Court documents online. The new Court Explorer app may be found at www.oakgov.com/courtexplorer.
Additional enhancements to online applications include mobile friendly versions of Judicial Schedule OnLine (https://jsos.g2gcloud.com/oaklandcounty) and the Circuit Court’s ePraecipe (https://epraecipe.g2gcloud.com/oaklandcounty). The ePraecipe application allows for electronic filing of praecipes for the Circuit Court motion call docket and the Judicial Schedule OnLine application provides the user with access to Probate and Circuit judicial calendars to view scheduled court dates.
These online enhancements are part of the Oakland County Circuit and Probate Courts’ and the Oakland County Clerk’s ongoing efforts to provide innovative technology that allows improved access to the courts.
