Bar associations to plant trees for Diggin' Our Diversity event, June 6

The Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, along with numerous other local and special purpose bar associations will take part in the Fourth Annual Diggin’ Our Diversity community service event on Saturday, June 6, in order to plant trees in a Detroit neighborhood.

Planting will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be supervised by The Greening of Detroit and the USDA/USFS Great Lakes Restoration Initiative. Volunteers should meet 8:45 a.m. at 19118 Margareta in Detroit to sign in.

There is no cost for the event. No experience is necessary and everyone is welcome including children and other family members and friends.
