The Debtor/Creditor Committee of the Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA) will present “Student Loans and You—A Guide to Managing your Education Debt” on Thursday, June 18, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Oakland County Bar Center, 1760 S. Telegraph Rd., Ste. 100, in Bloomfield Hills.
This seminar will educate participants about the “ins and outs” of student loan adminstration, repayment, collection, and eligibility. Participants will get a brief history of student loans and will learn about the different types of student loans, the various repayment options, and the payment postponement alternatives.
The guest speaker will be Erik C. Stein of Gallagher Sharp in Detroit.
Pre-registration cost for the seminar is $30 for OCBA members, $20 for OCBA new lawyers (P72586+), and $40 for all non-members. ?There will be an additional $10 charge for those registering at the door.
