Using social media focus of MMLA Lunch & Learn

The Southeast Chapter of the Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association (MMLA) will present a Lunch & Learn event featuring Ben Smidt of MGIC who will disucss “Using LinkedIn and Facebook to Increase Business Opportunities.”

Social Media is one of the most valuable touch-points lenders have with customers and prospects. This 60-minute presentation will provide the information, insights, and strategies needed to be found by, and successfully engage, the target audience on LinkedIn and Facebook.

Guest speaker Ben Smidt serves as MGIC’s digital marketing program specialist. He leads corporate development and management of MGIC’s digital marketing strategy. This includes establishing a clear vision for all digital marketing initiatives and providing strategic direction for the company’s social media marketing efforts. His primary goal is to increase brand awareness and improve user experience.

The luncheon event will take place on Monday, April 18, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Maggiano’s, 2089 West Big Beaver Rd. in Troy.  Cost is $30 for MMLA members, $40 for non-members.
