The award is presented to legal professionals who demonstrate the highest integrity in their profession.

Pappas, chairman at Dickinson Wright’s Troy office, specializes in commercial and business litigation, arbitration, and mediation. Pappas spoke to WMU-Cooley law students, faculty, and staff about the importance of preserving their reputations, both professionally and personally, and praised WMU-Cooley Law School for instilling ethics throughout its curriculum.

“A good reputation can take you 45 years to build, like was the case with me, and only seconds to destroy,” said Pappas. “Trust your instincts and be courageous when building success.”
