The Michigan State University College of Law Jewish Legal Society (JLS) hosted its 8th Annual Alumni &?Student Reception on Wednesday, April 6, at the offices of Schafer &?Weiner in Bloomfield Hills. During the evening, 1986 alumna Oakland County 48th District Court Judge Kimberly F. Small (second from left) was recognized with the Alumni Achievement Award. Congratulating Small were (left to right) Jason Weiner of Schafer &?Weiner, Alexander Waldman, and MSU Law Dean Joan Howarth. “The purpose of this event is to create an intimate networking environment for Jewish law students at the law college to network with prominent attorneys and judges in the area,” said Weiner, 2010 MSU Law alumnus.
