The Catholic Lawyers Society (CLS) hosted its Annual Meeting and Brunch on Sunday, May 15, with mass at Gesu Church followed by brunch at the Detroit Golf Club. During the brunch, the Monsignor Charles Malloy Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to U.S. District Court Judge Terrance G. Berg (second form left), Eastern District of Michigan; and the CLS Scholarship Award was presented to Loyola High School student Okwuolisa Umeokolo (third from left). Congratulating the honorees were (left to right) Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Edward Joseph, Patricia Galvin, Wayne County Probate Court Judge Lawrence Paolucci, CLS president; CLS Recording Secretary Robert Gazall; Joseph McGill; and CLS board members Mayra Rodriguez and Matthew Dawson.
