Many of them become merchandise at MiStore, the state of Michigan's surplus store. These are just a few items that will be available when the surplus store opens for a special one-day sale on Saturday, June 11, from 8 a.m. to noon. MiStore is located at 3111 W. St. Joseph in Lansing.
"This special sale is a great opportunity for customers to find a wealth of merchandise at great savings," said Carrie Rambo, manager of the state's surplus program. "Buyers also can continue to use MiBid, our online auction site, to find more great deals."
In addition to items surrendered at airports, the store offers property seized by police and office supplies and furniture that is no longer needed by government agencies. Typical merchandise found at the store includes computers, clothing, office furniture, musical instruments, desks, lawn maintenance equipment, book shelves, jewelry, sporting goods, cameras and more.

Customers can make payment with cash, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard or Discover) and personal checks up to $200. All items are sold as is, where is, and no loading assistance is provided. No returns are accepted or refunds given.
