Court on campus

On March 9, the Michigan Court of Appeals held oral arguments for nine cases at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School’s Auburn Hills campus. The school’s courtroom, which is used for training students in court procedure, was transformed into a court site for students, attorneys, and other members of the public to observe the appeals court’s docket. The nine arguments heard by Michigan Court of Appeals Judges (left to right) Kurtis T. Wilder, Jane E. Markey, and Brock A. Swartzle included criminal, civil and domestic cases.
