National Business Institute presented a seminar on “Special Education Law from A to Z” on Wednesday and Thursday, May 24-25, at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Southfield-Detroit. Among the speakers was Crystal M. Grant (pictured), staff attorney with Michigan Protection and Advocacy Services Inc. “I’m here to talk about evaluations for students with disabilities—or suspected of having a disability,” Grant said. “We’re also going to do a session on bullying.” Grant practices special education law as part of MPAS’ legal team.
