Detroit Chapter of ACEDS to host Wine and Cheese Social

The Detroit Chapter of The Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS) is holding its third annual Wine and Cheese Social taking place at The Capital Grille in Troy on Monday, June 18.

This year’s event will feature Thomas Gricks as distinguished guest. He is a managing director at Catalyst and a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. For the past several years.  Gricks has devoted a substantial portion of his practice to E-Discovery, with a particular emphasis on technology-assisted review. He argued the Global Aerospace case before the Circuit Court in Loudoun County, Virginia, which is the first case to permit the use of technology-assisted review over the objection of the opposing party.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Gricks, as well as socialize and network with industry colleagues while enjoying a fine selection of wines and cheeses.

The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Capital Grille, Somerset Collection, 2800 W Big Beaver Rd. in Troy. Detroit Chapter ACEDS members can attend for free; non-members pay $30.
