Benchmark Litigation and Managing Intellectual Property presented the return of Autolex:?Autonomous Vehicle Legal Forum on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Aloft Detroit at the David Whitney. Opening the program were (left to right) Jennifer Dukarski of Butzel Long and Sam Abuelsamid of Navigant Research. The two provided a background on the regulatory scheme and the potential regulations around the use and operations of automated vehicles going forward. “So from that standpoint, what happens with these regulatory developments shouldn’t impact the way the technology develops but it’s an important thing to monitor as different nations, different states, and different cities create new regulations on a daily basis in this industry,” Dukarski noted.
