Attorney/author to discusses book on millennial lawyers

The University of Detroit Mercy School of Law Student Bar Association will host attorney and author Susan Smith Blakely to discuss her book "What Millennial Lawyers Want: A Bridge from the Past to the Future of Law Practice" on Thursday, Feb. 7, from 1 to 2 p.m. in room 226 at the school's Riverfront Campus, 651 E. Jefferson Ave.

Blakely will present her extensive research on the opportunities and challenges faced by millennial lawyers navigating today's workforce. Blakely's work, relevant for both millennial lawyers and those who lead them, makes the case for a healthier path forward for a profession in transition. Blakely is the award-winning author of the "Best Friends at the Bar" books for women lawyers.

The event is free and open to the public.
