Western Michigan University Cooley Law School graduate, Erin Flynn, of Kelly & Kelly PC, was the keynote speaker at the Auburn Hills campus for International Women's Day on March 20.

Flynn is president-elect of the Women's Bar Association, Oakland County region of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan. She has also been honored in the Oakland County Executive's Elite 40 under 40 Class of 2019. During her presentation, Flynn advised attendees about how a woman law student and attorney can successfully navigate her career.

"We live in a society where women lawyers are expected to wear many different hats so they can have it all," Flynn said during the event. "Yes, you can wear many different hats, but you don't have to wear every single hat at the same time."

The event was sponsored by the Career and Professional Development Department and the Organization of Women Law Students (OWLS).
