'Winning TBI Cases for Adjusters and Juries' offered Sept. 6 in Novi

The Michigan Association for Justice (MAJ) will present “Winning TBI Cases for Adjusters and Juries” Friday, Sept. 6, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Four Points by Sheraton, 27000 South Karevich Dr. in  Novi.

The program will be moderated by Steve Gursten, Michigan Auto Law, Farmington Hills.  Topics to be discussed include: The #1 Thing Lawyers Can Do to Win a TBI Case, and The #1 Thing They Can Do to Lose One; The Gap in Time/Delay in Diagnosis Defense is Not Fatal; Litigating Traumatic Brain Injury Cases: An Overview; Crucial Medical Literature; Introduction to Neuropsychology; Objective Diagnostic Testing and Neuroimaging for TBI; Problems Beyond the Obvious TBI – What Else is Likely Going on But May Not be getting Diagnosed; and Five Things Every Lawyer Should Know About Neuropsychological Testing.

Cost for the program is $225 for MAJ members, $125 for MAJ members practicing 3 years or less, $115 for MAJ sustaining members, $115 for MAJ student and paralegal members, and $425 for non-MAJ members with digital handbook.  Door registration will be accepted as space permits. An additional $25 will be charged (including sustaining members).
