Program to focus on 'New Discovery Rules and the Business Courts'

The State Bar of Michigan Business Law Section’s Commercial Litigation Committee and the Litigation Section will present “New Discovery Rules and the Business Courts” on Tuesday, Oct. 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Columbia Center, 101 West Big Beaver Road in Troy.

New changes to the Michigan Court Rules will take effect January 1, 2020. How will these amendments affect discovery in the Business Courts? What will be the effect of the limitations on discovery on various kinds of cases? How do the various Business Courts address discovery disputes now? Will that change? Attendees can join for fun, food, networking, and learning.
