Bar associations partner to present documentary

The Oakland County Bar Association is pleased to partner with the Hellenic Bar Association of Michigan, the Jewish Bar Association of Michigan, and several other organizations to present a special screening of the documentary “Life Will Smile,” a unique first-hand account on the story of how Zakynthos became the only place in Europe where every member of its Jewish population survived World War II and the Holocaust.

The screening will take place Wednesday, Jan. 29, from 7 to 10 p.m at the Main Art Theater, 118 N. Main Street in Royal Oak

This free event will also include an opportunity to meet with and hear from the film’s producer Steve Priovolos. The film is in Greek with English subtitles.
