'Law & Reality' show finds a new home

The “Law & Reality” TV show, a talk show offering financial and legal advice featuring Bingham Farms attorney Ken Gross, is switching to a new station and time starting this Sunday, March 15.

The show, which spent seven years airing on WMYD-TV 20, will now air on WKBD TV-50 at 8 a.m. on Sunday mornings and repeat at 5 a.m. on Tuesday mornings.  The shift is designed to broaden the show’s reach to early morning viewers on Sundays.

“We are excited by Channel 50’s relationship with CBS and look forward to ‘Law and Reality’s’ presence on both the CBS and Channel 50 Social Media outlets,” said Gross. “Given the current and unique problems facing the country and supply chains, we can’t think of a better time to make the shift.”

Hosts Gross, Brian Small, Pat Simasko, and Jeff Linden cover the full gamut of legal issues – from debt and tax Issues, to elder law, estate planning and business Issues.

The show originated as the “Financial Crisis Talk Center” radio show in 2008 at the time of the economic meltdown.  The TV show launched in 2013. The name was changed in 2014. The “Law and Reality Radio Show” also continues to air on the Praise Network (102.7 FM) on Tuesday at 10 a.m. and on Kiss 105.9 FM on Sundays at 7 a.m.

Gross’ approach to addressing financial issues resulted in him being recognized as a “Leader in the Law” in 2011 by Michigan Lawyers Weekly.  He is also the author of “Dump Your Debt.”  The book is a how-to for persons to address foreclosure, tax debt, loan modifications and other money woes.
