COUNSELOR'S CORNER: Small words of wisdom

Brokenness opens the heart to a deeper life.

Admission of powerlessness opens the heart to God.

Kindness toward all is necessary for all.

Judgments of others imprisons me.

A God who condemns is not a loving God.

A man or woman who condemns is not loving.

Internal freedom is a result of love and compassion for all.

Worry only about bringing more love into this moment.

God is experienced in the NOW.

When I criticize and condemn, I stifle emotional and spiritual growth.

People are disarmed through love.

To rest in quiet reflection makes God become real.

To rush through life is to miss life.

If there is no God, then nothing exists.

Crying is not coming apart. It is coming together.

The embrace of my pain opens me to a Divine Presence.

You can’t heal what you can’t feel.

To live in the past is useless.

To live in the future is futile.

To live in the present moment is energizing.

Walk slowly through life and calmness and God become real.

Every moment is a new experience of God.

There is goodness in everyone.

Everyone was once an innocent toddler.

When we do not embrace our emotional wounds, we live a superficial life.

Do not run away from your true self.

The more I criticize others, the more miserable I become.

Internal freedom is the result of love.

God is bigger and more loving than all religions.

True religion and true psychology are to help us become more loving and discover a very big God.

Spirituality results from a positive experience of God.

True friendship results from unconditional giving.

Resentments block me from God.

Trying to change others harms others and harms myself.

Loving others with kind words and actions benefits both of us.

I will lead a better life when I experience your journey in life.

I will not lead a better life when you tell me how I must live.

I do not need to preach to others. I only need to share my own personal journey with others.

The experience of my wounds become a springboard to experiencing God.

My energy must not be spent on how the world must change.

My energy must be spent on how I must change into a more loving person.

The more I become quiet with God, the more calmness and peace fill me.

Humble, broken, loving and honest men and women are life-giving.

The more I love, the more I discover internal freedom and peace.

I must always be grateful.

I have been created to live forever in joy.

I am always loved by a loving God.
