Association hosting new lawyer admission ceremony pre-party

The Oakland County Bar Association is hosting an on-line virtual pre-ceremony for all February bar passers prior to the State Bar of Michigan’s and Michigan Supreme Court’s virtual swearing-in ceremony on Friday, May 15.

This OCBA event will be held via Zoom from 12:45 to 1:15 p.m. and will consist of a short program led by Oakland County Circuit Court Chief Judge Shalina Kumar, Oakland County Probate Court Chief Judge Kathleen Ryan, and numerous other circuit and district judges.  OCBA President Dan Quick will also welcome everyone on behalf of the OCBA and introduce any OCBA board members attending.

The actual swearing-in ceremony will be live streamed at 2 p.m. on the Michigan State Supreme Court YouTube page.
