MAJ offers plaintiff members-only webinar on fraud, recission claims

The Michigan Association for Justice will present a MAJ plaintiff members-only online webinar exploring "Strategies for Dealing with Fraud and Rescission Claims" on Thursday, May 20, from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

The webinar will be led by co-moderators Amicus Committee Chair Rebecca Walsh, of Reiter & Walsh PC, and Amicus Team Member Bob June, of Law Offices of Robert June PC. The speakers will all be members of the MAJ Amicus Team.

"Fraud and rescission claims have become favorites of the insurance industry, and there are at least ten cases with applications for leave to appeal pending before the Michigan Supreme Court right now," June said. "The MAJ Amicus Team has been actively monitoring these cases, and we will tell you what we've learned in this webinar. If you have a case where the insurer is claiming that coverage should be voided due to some type of misrepresentation, you won't want to miss it."
