The Michigan Defense Trial Counsel will present its Legal Excellence Awards 2023 on Thursday, March 16, from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Gem Theatre, 333 Madison Avenue in Detroit.
The night will include presentations of the following awards:
• Judicial Award—Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Kwamé LeRoy Rowe
• Excellence in Defense Award—James G. Gross, James G. Gross PLC; and John T. Eads III, Gordon, Rees, Scully, Mansukhani
• Young Lawyers Golden Gavel Award—Kyle C. Kamidoi, Garan Lucow Miller PC; and Nicole C. Joseph-Windecker, Foley, Baron, Metzger, & Juip
The banquet includes a strolling dinner. The emcee for the evening will be Charlie Langton of Fox 2 Detroit.
