Electronic ballots for 2023 State Bar Elections mailed

Electronic ballots for the 2023 State Bar Elections were mailed Tuesday, May 23. All voting is conducted online and polls close at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, June 15.

The election includes contested races in the Judicial Tenure Commission and in Districts H and I for the Board of Commissioners.  All active members of the State Bar will receive a ballot for the Judicial Tenure Commission race, and ballots are personalized to include other races in which a member is eligible to vote.

Michigan attorneys will receive an email with a link to their ballot. Members should not forward this email; this is a personal ballot information. The e-mail will come from?sbmelection@electionservicescorp.com?with the subject “Vote Now in the 2023 State Bar of Michigan Election—E-Ballot enclosed.”  Those  who do not receive a ballot should check their spam folder and make sure they are checking the email account currently on file with the State Bar of Michigan. Members can review their information at michbar.org/MemberArea.

The voting site is secure and offers the same level of privacy and anonymity as voting by mail.
