‘Government Policy’ focus of auto trends webinar

As part of its Dykema Drives 2024 automotive trends webinar series, Dykema will present “Government Policy (Part I) and Internal Investigations & Compliance (Part II)” on Thursday, June 6, from 1 to 2 p.m.

This year's automotive policy landscape reflects a notable shift, with a transition from legislation providing financial incentives for electric car production to concerns over trade disputes, tightening regulations and sanctions. Compliance with stricter environmental regulations, particularly NHTSA fuel efficiency standards and EPA greenhouse gas emission standards, also are a focus in 2024.

During this webinar, the speakers will explore these government policies and compliance legal trends impacting the automotive industry and more.

Speaking at the webinar will be Dykema’s Mark Chutkow, member, Bloomfield Hills; Jennifer Beidel, member, Bloomfield Hills; Andrea Cascarilla, government policy advisor, Lansing; Mary Beth McGowan, government policy advisor, Washington D.C.;  and Andrew Buczek, government policy advisor, Washington D.C.
