Raising the Bar event staged June 13 at Detroit Golf Club

The iconic Detroit Golf Club, which recently was the site of a professional golf tournament, played host to another star-studded event on June 13 when the Detroit Bar Association held its 188th Annual Dinner and awards ceremony. The Raising the Bar event also served as the annual changing of the guard for the Detroit Bar Association, as incoming President Tiffany Ellis (pictured at right) was sworn in to office, succeeding Zenell Brown of the State Court Administrative Office in the key leadership role. Ellis, a partner with Peiffer Wolf in Detroit, is an alumna of the University of Missouri who earned her juris doctor from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.
