Alexander A. Ayar, a commercial litigation attorney at the law firm Foster Swift Collins and Smith, P.C. has been elected to serve as the 2011-2012 President of the Chaldean-American Bar Association. Mr. Ayar commented that he is “very honored to have been elected by my peers to serve as President, and I am looking forward to carrying out the responsibilities of the office.”
Mr. Ayar is an attorney in Foster Swift’s Commercial Litigation Group, and is admitted to practice law in all Michigan state courts as well as in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Mr. Ayar earned his Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from Wayne State University Law School. During his legal studies, he interned for Chief United States District Court Judge Gerald E. Rosen, was a Moot Court recipient of an award for Excellence in Oral Advocacy, and was the President of the St. Thomas More Society. Mr. Ayar’s Bachelor of Science degree in Economics was awarded with honors by Oakland University.
The Chaldean-American Bar Association is a Nonprofit Corporation that is made up of attorneys and law students.
