In that time, 195 awardees have received a total of $436,000 in financial support of their law school educations. The foundation's many corporate, law firm and individual donors have given generously to support the WLAMF's educational mission, and many will also attend the March 28th event. The awards reception takes place at the the Whitney in Detroit from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at a suggested donation of $25 per attendee. The Whitney restaurant is located at 4421 Woodward Avenue in Detroit with valet parking available. The legal community is asked to join the WLAM Foundation by registering for the event by Wednesday, March 21, by contacting Barb at (248) 740-7003 to charge by phone, or charge online by Visa or MasterCard at www.wlamfoundation.org. The WLAM Foundation's website also offers opportunities to support the scholarship fund as a member of the Dean's List, supporters at levels above $125.
